  • Q1. I'm not the PTA president. Can I create a BAND group and invite the PTA president and other members?
    Yes, you can. However, we recommend the PTA president be an admin within the group for your best BAND experience. You can assign any member to act as admins or co-admins at anytime.

  • Q2. We are already using another platform. Is there an easy way to transfer our group to BAND?
    We recommend you create a BAND invite link and share the link with your members on your current platform. Your members can easily create a BAND account and join your new group by using your provided custom link.

  • Q3. Can BAND be used by those who don't have a smartphone?
    Yes. Anyone can access BAND on their PC/Mac at  "https://band.us" and join the group by using the invite link.

  • Q4. I have 100 members in my PTA unit. Will you give away t-shirts to all 100 members?
    Yes. If your group is selected, we will give away t-shirts to all members who have downloaded  and joined your PTA group.

  • Q5. My PTA unit is already on BAND. Can we participate?
    Thank you for using BAND for your PTA unit communication. However, this event is designed to celebrate our new partnership with the National PTA and only new PTA units are eligible to win group t-shirts at this time. But stay tuned for more exciting PTA events and giveaways.
